Physical inspections of the plants were carried to understand the condition of the machines. Technology of the turbines installed were also analysed with respect to its efficiency. • Nawanshahr Power Pvt. Ltd.: May, 2009; Feb,2014 Award: Andhra Bank TEV Study was carried for a Cogen – Multi fuel powered plant in co-operative sugar mill at Nawanshahr, Punjab. Main focus of the study was to understand the feasibility of the cogen plant considering the poor state of the sugar mill. Due to the worn out machines there were losses and excess requirement of the steam by the mill. Changes were proposed in the mill to increase its efficiency for successful implementation of cogen power plant of 40 MW. • Nepa Limited: May, 2010 Location: Nepa Nagar, Madhya Pradesh Award: Two stage, open tender. Technical qualification and Financial bids were invited. Valuation for disinvestment, conducted on instruction from the company at behest of BIFR. Special focus was on the fixed assets in form of thermal power plant, road infrastructure, schools, hospitals, residential colonies, plant and machinery, industrial buildings, industrial sheds, movable assets and exclusive land parcel for growing raw material. • Common Wealth Games Village, Delhi 2010: Award: by Delhi Development Authority Marketability, Cost Incurred and Fair Value of Commonwealth Games Village was estimated for the committee constituted by Lt. Governor of Delhi comprising of DDA, NBCC, CPWD and HUDCO. The study was conducted to buy out share of the developer by understanding the market price of the end product and cost spent on date of transaction. Exercise involved technical audit of the site, work done and expenses incurred for the development. • Aman Hotels and Resorts: February, 2012 Award: Yes Bank, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi Conducted TEV study of an operational hotel for Yes Bank. Study was conducted to understand the impact of new strategy adopted which was departure from the philosophy of the brand, till now. Secondary market survey was undertaken for similar developments in the city to understand the acceptability by the people.
