Mrs. Pinky Anand
A versatile and multifaceted person, social activist, and leading lawyer in diverse fields, her accomplishments extend from legal expertise to media, politics, and social activities. She has represented the government in constitutional cases including NEET, Char Dham, triple talaq, adultery, arbitration, and land acquisition. She has worked tirelessly for social development, achieving numerous milestones in her endeavors for the country's development, the right to free speech, the eradication of malpractices, and the protection of children. The causes she has championed have led to significant changes in the legal fabric.
She has been honored with several awards for excellence in law and has represented India in international forums including the BRICS Legal Forum in Brazil, China, South Africa, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Prosecutors’ General Meeting in Russia and Tajikistan. As a trustee of the Partition Museum, she has authored books including "Trials of Truth" by Penguin and "Family Law Jurisdictional Comparisons" by Thomas Reuters.
An esteemed alumna of Campus Law Centre, Delhi University, she excelled in academics and led the student community as the first woman Secretary of DUSU. She has led the All India Legal Team for BJP for two terms and served as a spokesperson for the party. She has numerous publications to her credit on law and policy. In 2013, she was conferred the National Order of Merit by the Government of France, and in 2015, she was presented with the Plaque of Honor by the Bar Council of India. Recognized as a “Living Legend of Law” by the Bar Association of India at its 60th Year Celebration, she has a distinguished career and has been acclaimed with numerous national and international awards.
