
On April 23, 2023, Ayodhya became the spiritual center of the world as water from 155 rivers, collected from across all seven continents, was offered in a grand Jalabhishek ceremony at the Ram Mandir.
This noble effort was envisioned and led by Shri Vijay Jolly, Founder of Delhi Study Group (DSG), showcasing a global expression of unity, faith, and devotion to Lord Ram.
Rivers from across the globe — from the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati in India, to the Amazon (Brazil), Mississippi (USA), Thames (UK), Volga (Russia), Nile (Egypt), Danube (Europe), Mekong (Vietnam), and even rivers from Antarctica — were part of this unprecedented ceremony.

The entire project, spanning 2.5 years, was spearheaded by Shri Vijay Jolly, founder of Delhi Study Group. Under his guidance, dedicated teams across the globe collected river water, coordinated logistics, and ensured cultural sanctity at every stage.
The initiative went beyond religious boundaries. People from Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and other communities participated, united by the message of peace and reverence for Lord Ram.

At the Ram Janmabhoomi temple site, the sacred water was poured in a traditional Vedic ceremony, with priests chanting ancient mantras from the Vedas. A short documentary showcasing the global water collection journey was also screened.
