New Delhi, October 16, 2021: In a compassionate gesture, Dr. Vijay Jolly, President of Delhi Study Group, provided much-needed humanitarian aid to Pintu Kumar Jaiswal, a physically challenged resident of Sangam Vihar, South Delhi.
Pintu Jaiswal, a poor tomato and vegetable street vendor, residing at Block-L-II, House Number 1093, Street No. 24, Sangam Vihar, met with a tragic accident at the Okhla Vegetable Wholesale Market, where he was crushed by a speeding truck. The devastating incident resulted in severe spinal injuries, a broken back, and complete paralysis of his lower body, leaving him unable to walk or continue his livelihood.
Moved by his plight, Dr. Jolly personally presented a wheelchair to Pintu Jaiswal, ensuring improved mobility and restoring hope for a better life. This initiative reflects Delhi Study Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting the underprivileged and physically challenged individuals, reinforcing the spirit of humanity, kindness, and social responsibility.
Delhi Study Group Extends Humanitarian Aid to Paralyzed Resident in Sangam Vihar
New Delhi: In a heartfelt act of generosity, Dr. Vijay Jolly, former MLA and Senior BJP leader, visited the home of Ashok Srivastav, a paralyzed resident of Sangam Vihar, New Delhi, to extend much-needed humanitarian assistance.
Moved by Ashok’s struggle, Dr. Jolly personally provided him with a walker, a woolen blanket, and cash assistance, bringing a moment of immense joy and relief to the ailing man and his family. Witnessing Ashok take his first steps with the walker after a year of paralysis was an emotional moment for everyone present.
Ashok Srivastav, the sole breadwinner of his family, residing at L-I, Street No. 14, House No. D-40, Asthal Mandir Road, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi-110080, has been battling paralysis for the past year, leaving him unable to walk freely and earn a livelihood. Recognizing the family’s financial distress, Dr. Jolly stepped in to offer his support.
