Hariyali Teej marks Gaiety : Vijay Jolly
New Delhi, 5th August 2010: President Delhi Study Group Shri. Vijay Jolly today stated that Hariyali Teej festival depicts the rich Indian cultural heritage. This festival is celebrated with pomp & gaiety by Indian women folks with music, songs & dances to welcome the advent of monsoon. Vijay Jolly while speaking at the Hariyali Teej programme invoked Indra Devta for torrential rains in Delhi. So as to overfill the parched water chest of Delhi soil. And for Greener Delhi in the Common Wealth Games year in the Capital.
A colourful cultural programme of Hariyali Teej was organized today under the leadership of Ex. Delhi MLA & President Delhi Study Group Shri. Vijay Jolly in the gracious company of All India BJP Ex. President & Member of Parliament Shri. Venkaiah Naidu. On this occasion flowers decorated jhulwa, with red-pink & yellow attired saree clad young girls and women, wearing colourful bangles & mehndi on their hands were seen dancing & singing at this colourful teej programme. The main attraction was a dandia dance & traditional Indian folk music programme performed by prominent lady members of Delhi Study Group.
On this occasion assembled women folks included lady diplomats from USA, China, U.K., Italy, Japan, Belgium, France, Sweden, Taiwan, Cuba, Nepal, Australia & Fiji. They were treated with mehndi, coulourful bangles & delicious food. Prominent citizens of Delhi, Members of Parliament, MLAs & MCD Councillors along with the Mayor & Deputy Mayor of Delhi attended the programme with great enthusiasm.
Senior BJP Leader Shri. Venkaiah Naidu while welcoming the guests at his residence stated that Teej marks the arrival of monsoon & transforming the hot, dusty & barren landscape of the nation into fertile green beehive of activity. Teej is the festival for the daughters and women folks of India. It is dedicated to goddess Parvati commemorating her husband lord Shiva. According the hindu mythology on the third day after the new moon in the month of shravan mas, Goddess Parvati went to the house of Lord Shiva her husband and was united with him. Also the long awaited monsoon finally arrives bringing relief to the parched land and thirsty throats. Merriment prevails during teej celebrations. Shri. Naidu conveyed BJP’s warm good wishes on this auspicious festival of gaiety.
Prominent office bearers of Delhi Study Group namely Ashok Garg, Bhupendra Kansal, Siddharth Nath Singh, Pravesh Verma, Surya Prakash, Pinky Anand, Manoj Arora, Vijay Mehta, Rajinder Gupta, Sardar Hartirath Singh, Anil Jindal, Raj Khurana, Gajendra Solanki, Mudita Gupta welcomed the assembled guests with flowers. Vandana Pathak, Kalpana Garg & Veena Sharma coordinated the programme. The programme was convened by Ex. Rotary District Governor Gurcharan Ghai & Palam MLA Dharm Deo Solanki was the co-convenor of the programme.
हरियाली तीज त्यौहार- उल्लास का प्रतीक: विजय जौली
नई दिल्ली, 9 अगस्त, 2010ः अध्यक्ष दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप विजय जौली ने हरियाली तीज उत्सव को भारतीय संस्कृति की धरोहर करार दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह त्योहार भारतीय महिलाओं के हर्षोउल्लास, गीत, संगीत व नृत्य इत्यादि द्वारा सावन के आगमन पर खुशी व उल्लास का प्रतीक है। इस अवसर पर उपस्थित अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए श्री जौली ने कामना की कि दिल्ली में मुसलाधार वर्षा हो। ताकि दिल्ली की सुखी धरती में जल संचार हो सके। तथा पीने के पानी की कमी से दिल्ली वासियों को छुटकारा मिल सके। तथा राष्ट्रमण्डल खेलों के वर्ष में दिल्ली हरी-भरी रहे।
हरियाली तीज उत्सव का एक रंगा-रंग कार्यक्रम दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप के अध्यक्ष व पूर्व दिल्ली विधायक विजय जौली की अगुवाई में आज भाजपा के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एवं वर्तमान सांसद सदस्य श्री वेंकैया नाइडू के सान्निध्य में उनके निवास स्थल पर धूम-धाम से मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर फूलों से सजे झूले, हरी, लाल व पीली साड़ियों में लिपटी महिलाएं, हाथों में मेंहदी व रंग बिरंगी चुड़ियॉ पहनें, सावन के गीत गाती दिखाई दीं। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण परम्परागत डांडियॉ नृत्य व भारतीय लोक गीत व संगीत रहा। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप की विशिष्ट महिला सदस्यों ने रंगा रंग गीत, संगीत व नृत्य का कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया।
इस अवसर पर अनेक विदेशी दूतावास की महिलाओं जिनमें अमेरिका, चीन, इटली, जापान, बेल्जियम, ताईवान, फ्रांस, स्वीडन, क्यूबा व फींजी देश की महिलायें उपस्थित रहीं। इन्होंने मेंहदी लगवाकर, रंग बिरंगी चूड़ियां पहन कर, झूला झूल कर व स्वादिष्ट व्यंजनों का आनन्द उठाकर हरियाली तीज उत्सव का आनन्द लिया। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली के गणमान्य नगरिक, सांसद सदस्य, विधायक, निगम पार्षद, महापौर व उपमहापौर ने बढ़ चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया।
वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता श्री वेंकैया नाइडू ने उपस्थित अतिथियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि भारत में हरियाली तीज का त्योहार, वर्षा ऋतु के आगमन एवं हरे-भरे व सुहावने वातावरण का प्रतीक है। तीज भारतीय माताओं एवं बहनों के उत्साह व खुशियों का त्योहार है। यह त्योहार माता पार्वती द्वारा भगवान शिव की उपासना व आराधना के संदर्भ में हर्षोउल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है। भारतीय सांस्कृति के अनुसार श्रवण मास में माता पार्वती का मिलन भगवान शिव से हुआ था। तथा श्रवण मास के आरम्भ व वर्षा ऋतु के आगमन से सूखी धरती हरी-भरी हो जाती है। प्यासों को पानी व जीवन, हरियाली तीज का प्रतीक है । श्री नाईडू ने इस अवसर पर भाजपा की ओर से देश वासियों को शुभ कामना संदेश भी दिया।
