Bring CBI under ‘Lokpal’ : Dr. Kiran Bedi
New Delhi : India Against Corruption Core Committee member Dr. Kiran Bedi while speaking at a program organized by Delhi Study Group on “Lokpal Bill & Corruption” stated that we had invited all Indian political parties to express their views on corruption & Lokpal Bill. It is unfortunate that all responded except Congress party of India (the ruling elite party in India). It seems that Congress does not have the political will to combat corruption stated Dr. Bedi & who also vociferously stressed to bring CBI under Lokpal.
The program was organized at the behest of Delhi Study Group President Vijay Jolly at Constitution Club, New Delhi. The other prominent speaker besides Dr. Bedi was Smt. Shikha Rai, eminent lawyer & President Mahila Morcha. The program was compared by youth leader Shri. Kuljeet Singh Chahal. Advisor DSG Ashok Garg, Vice Presidents Bhupendra Kansal, Pravesh Verma & Gopal Garg with Treasurer Vijay Mehta were present.
Study Group President Vijay Jolly while addressing the eminent citizens assembled on the occasion stated that we all are against corruption. We want a independent Lokpal in India. We want the CBI not to be a arm twister for the govt. but certainly under the Lokpal. The Congress Govt. should honour Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s promise given on the floor of parliament to Anna Hazare & his team on the issue stated Mr. Jolly.
Smt. Shikha Rai stated that whole of India is bleeding from corruption. But the Congress govt. does not feel the pinch. The ordinary citizen of India has day to day contact with the officers for their food ration cards, district revenue officers, water board, electricity & passport officers. But all these departments are effected with the disease of corruption. So it is all the more important for all of them to come under the ambit of lokpal stated eminent lawyer & women’s right crusader Smt. Shikha Rai.
सीबीआई-‘‘लोकपाल’’ के अधीन करो: किरन बेदी
नई दिल्ली: दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप द्वारा ‘‘लोकपाल बिल व भ्रष्टाचार’’ के विरूद्ध आयोजित कार्यक्रम में इण्डिया अगेंस्ट करप्शन कोर कमेटी सदस्य डा0 किरन बेदी ने कहा कि हमने भारत के सभी दलों को भ्रष्टाचार के मुद्दे पर अपना मत देनें के लिए सादर आमंत्रित किया था। लेकिन यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि कॉग्रेस पार्टी इस मुद्दे पर केवल ब्यानबाजी करती दिखाई दी। जबकि अन्य दलों ने भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ने में अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दिखाई। डा0 बेदी ने इस अवसर पर सीबीआई को लोकपाल बिल के अधीन करने की पुरजोर वकालत की।
दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप अध्यक्ष श्री विजय जौली की अगुवााई में कन्स्टीट्यूशन क्लब, नई दिल्ली में आयोजित परिचर्चा में डा0 किरन बेदी के साथ महिला मोर्चा अध्यक्षा व वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता श्रीमती शिखा राय ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किये। कार्यक्रम का संचालन युवा नेता श्री कुलजीत सिंह चहल ने किया। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप के चौथे बुलेटिन का अनावरण डा0 किरन बेदी ने किया। इस अवसर पर स्ट्डी ग्रुप सलाहकार अशोक गर्ग, उपाध्यक्ष भूपेन्द्र कंसल, प्रवेश वर्मा व गोपाल गर्ग मंच पर उपस्थित रहे।
इस अवसर पर उपस्थित बुद्धिजीवियों को संबोधित करते हुए स्ट्डी गु्रप अध्यक्ष श्री विजय जौली ने कहा कि हम सब भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ हैं। हम चाहते हैं कि स्वतंत्र व निष्पक्ष लोकपाल बिल संसद द्वारा तुरन्त पारित किया जाए। तथा इसके अधिनस्थ सीबीआई को लाकर, सरकार इस मुद्दे पर संसद के पटल पर दिये गये प्रधानमंत्री डा0 मनमोहन के वादे को तुरन्त पूरा करे।
इस अवसर पर श्रीमती शिक्षा राय ने कहा कि आज भारत भ्रष्टाचार से त्रस्त है। लेकिन सरकार को यह नजर नहीं आता है। आम आदमी का वास्ता, राशन कार्ड अधिकारी, जिला अधिकारी, जल बोर्ड अधिकारी, बिजली अधिकारी व पासपोर्ट अधिकारी से होता है। लेकिन इन सभी में भ्रष्टाचार व्याप्त है। इस लिए इन सब को लोकपाल के अधीन लाना अनिवार्य है।
