Sangam Vihar Poor Women Distributed Free Kitchen Gas Cylinders & Stoves

South Delhi, 19th Nov 2021: Free LPG connections were distributed to Sangam Vihar women folks living below the poverty line under the leadership of Senior BJP Leader & President Delhi Study Group Dr. Vijay Jolly today.  Free kitchen gas cylinders & stoves were distributed to hundreds of poor women above the age of 18 years. The program was organized under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Satish Upadhyay, Vice Chairman -NDMC was the Chief Guest. While addressing the poor women on the occasion, Satish Upadhyay & Dr. Jolly revealed that Prime Minister Modi started this scheme on 1st May 2016. Against the target of 5 crore, nearly 7 Crore 19 Lakh 6 thousand 812 new LPG connections consisting of kitchen gas cylinders & stoves were distributed free of cost till date. Satish Upadhyay & Dr. Jolly termed it historic in modern times. BJP leaders also claimed that smoke produced by burning wood, coal & dung cakes in the kitchen contributed to air pollution. But Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has stopped eye & throat sensation while felicitating kitchen cooking of poor women in India.

संगम विहार गरीब महिलाओं को मुफ्त गैस सिलेंडर व चूल्हे वितरित

दक्षिण दिल्ली, 19 नवम्बर 2021ः वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता व अध्यक्ष दिल्ली स्टडी ग्रुप डॉ. विजय जौली के नेतृत्व में आज संगम विहार में गरीबी रेखा के नीचे रहने वाली सैकड़ों महिलाओं को एलपीजी कनेक्शन बॉटे गये। इस अवसर पर 18 साल से ऊपर की महिलाओं को मुफ्त रसोई गैस सिलेंडर व चूल्हे वितरित किये गये। यह कार्यक्रम प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना के तहत आयोजित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में नई दिल्ली नगर पालिका उपाध्यक्ष सतीश उपाध्याय मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर गरीब महिलाओं को संबोधित करते हुए सतीश उपाध्याय व डॉ. जौली ने बताया की प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने इस योजना का आरम्भ 1 मई 2016 को किया था। प्रस्तावित 5 करोड़ नये एलपीजी कनेक्शन के स्थान पर 7 करोड़ 19 लाख 6 हजार 812 गैस सिलेंडर व चूल्हे आज तक मुफ्त वितरित किये जा चुके हैं। सतीश उपाध्याय व डॉ. जौली ने इसे ऐतिहासिक कदम बताया। भाजपा नेताओं ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना से रसोई में जलने वाले लकड़ी, कोयले व उपलों से उत्पन्न धुॅआ जो महिलाओं के ऑखों व गले में जलन पैदा करता था। उससे अब गृहणियों को मुक्ती मिली। इस मुद्दे पर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को बधाई दी गई।
