New Delhi, 19th Feb 2026: Prominent NGO of India Delhi Study Group led by President Dr. Vijay Jolly organized a interactive seminar on "India Trade Deals and Changing Geo-Political World Economic Order" at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
The overcrowded program was attended & addressed by Dr. Vijay Mehta (Honorary Consul of Romania), Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma (Nepal Ambassador in India), Chief Speaker Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi (Vice Chancellor - Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) and Judson Wendell Addy (Liberia Chamber of Commerce Chair International Affairs). The program was attended by diplomats of various nations, intelligentsia from Delhi University, JNU & Jamia Islamia. Program was compared by Dr. Jolly.
PM Modi and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal were complimented for signing 9 historic trade deals & protecting Indian farmers and supplementing MADE IN INDIA products. With the changing geo-political world economic order due to US President Donald Trump's tariff diplomacy, India has maintained its global economic equilibrium stated Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi & Dr. Vijay Mehta. Nepal stands to gain as India's neighbor from such deals claimed Nepal Ambassador Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma. India needs to have a pro-active Africa Centric Policy stated Liberian leader Judson Wendell Addy. Two minutes silence & floral tributes were offered to the Delhi Study Group Late Leader Ashok Garg who served DSG for 33 long years.

नई दिल्ली, 19 फरवरी 2026ः भारत के प्रसिद्ध गैर सरकारी संगठन दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप अध्यक्ष डॉ. विजय जौली के नेतृत्व में नई दिल्ली स्थित कॅन्स्टिट्यूशन क्लब आफ इण्डिया में ‘‘भारत के अंतराष्ट्रीय व्यापार सौदे, बदलती भू राजनीतिक और वैश्विक अर्थ व्यवस्था’’ पर परिचर्चा आयोजित की गई।
खचाखच भरे कार्यक्रम में डॉ. विजय मेहता (रोमानियां महावाणिज्य दूत), डॉ. शंकर प्रसाद शर्मा (नेपाल राजदूत), मुख्य वक्ता प्रो0 राकेश मोहन जोशी (उपकुलपति भारतीय विदेश व्यापार संस्थान) तथा जडसन वेंडेल एडी (लाइबेरिया चैंबर ऑफ कामर्स चेयर) ने अपने विचार रखे। कार्यक्रम में अनेक देशों के राजनयिक संग दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय, जवाहर लाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय, जामिया इस्लामिया के रिसर्चर्स उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन स्ट्डी ग्रप अध्यक्ष डॉ. विजय जौली ने की।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और वाणिज्य केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयुष गोयल द्वारा 9 ऐतिहासिक व्यापारिक सौदों पर हस्ताक्षर, भारतीय किसानों के हितों की रक्षा करने और मेक-इन-इंडिया द्वारा भारत में निर्मित वस्तुओं के निर्यात के लिए बधाई दी। प्रो. राकेश मोहन जोशी व डॉ. विजय मेहता ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप की ‘‘टेरिफ डिप्लोमैसी’’ से बदलते वैश्विक राजनैतिक घटनाक्रम के समय में भारत ने अपना आर्थिक संतुलन बनाए रखा है। नेपाल राजदूत डॉ. शंकर प्रसाद शर्मा ने दावा किया कि ऐसे सौदों से भारत के पड़ोसी देश नेपाल को भी आर्थिक लाभ पहंुचेगा। लाइबेरिया व्यापारिक नेता जडसन वेंडेल एडी ने कहा कि भारत को सक्रिय अफ्रीका केंद्रित आर्थिक सहायता नीति बनाने की जरूरत है। इसके साथ ही 33 साल तक दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप में अपना योगदान देते रहे स्वर्गीय अशोक गर्ग जी को पुष्प अर्पित कर सबने मौंन रख, भावभिनी श्रृद्धांजलि भी दी।
