Rich tributes paid to Late Evergreen Indian Actor Devanand

New Delhi, 25^th Sep 2012:  Former Deputy Prime Minister of India & Senior BJP Leader Shri. L.K. Advani termed Devanand as a true democrat born in this century. Devanand is a immortal soul stated L.K. Advani while speaking at a program on the 89^th birth anniversary celebration of Late actor, director, writer & producer Devanand.

Delhi Study Group led by BJP Leader Mr. Vijay Jolly and Devanand Fans Forum led by Mr. K.K. Bhargava jointly organized a public program on the 89^th birth anniversary of Devanand in Delhi. Famous Jain Muni Acharya Dr. Lokesh attended the program. Panipat Study Group President Rajiv Ahuja spoke as the program Chairman. DG Doordarshan & Director Indian Film Festival also attended the program. A musical tribute by Malik Music Entertainers was also presented.

BJP Leader Mr. Vijay Jolly while speaking on the occasion recollected his close association with Devanand since late seventies. “Devanand taught me to remain smart, active & forward looking” revealed Mr. Jolly on the occasion. To speak positive and see positive was another trait learnt of Devanand and which Mr. Jolly fondly recollected in his speech.

Mr. L.K. Advani in the course of his speech recalled that Devanand’s political activism was at its best during the emergency in the late 70s. He led a group of film personalities and stood against the internal emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indra Gandhi. He actively campaigned with his supporters in support of the democratic political forces in the 1977 parliamentary elections.

Mr. Advani also recollected that Devanand accompanied Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his famous Lahore Bus Yatra in year 1999. Devanand was conferred Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002 by President APJ Abdul Kalam at New Delhi on the recommendation of Vajpayee Govt.

Devanand son Mr. Suneil Anand specially flew from Mumbai at the invitation of BJP Leader Mr. Vijay Jolly to attend the program. Mr. Suneil Anand announced the next new movie under the banner of Navketan Films titled “Vagator Mixer” a english movie based on the theme of famous Indian beach in Goa. Mr. Suneil Anand shall play the lead role as a actor and shall write its script and also direct the movie. This movie shall be launched with a new star cast in the month of December 2012.

नई दिल्ली, 25 सितम्बर, 2012ः भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री व भाजपा वरिष्ठ नेता श्री लाल कृष्ण आडवानी ने आज स्व0 देवआनंद को इस सदी का सच्चा लोकतंत्रवादी करार दिया। दिवंगत अभिनेता की 89वीं सालगिरह पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम मे श्री देवआनंद को श्री आडवानी ने अमर आत्मा कहा।

दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप अध्यक्ष व भाजपा प्रवक्ता श्री विजय जौली ने देवआनंद फैनस फोरम के अध्यक्ष के.के. भर्गव के साथ संयुक्त रूप से देवआनंद की 89वीं वर्षगॉठ दिल्ली में एक सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम कर धूमधाम से मनाई। इस अवसर पर प्रसिद्ध जैन मुनी आचार्य डा0 लोकेश ने भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। इस कार्यक्रम में पानीपत स्ट्डी ग्रुप के अध्यक्ष राजीव अहुजा कार्यक्रम संयोजक के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। दूरदर्शन महानिदेशक व निदेशक भारतीय फिल्म समारोह ने भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर मलिक म्यूजिक इंटरटेनर द्वारा देवआनंद के फिल्मी गाने भी गाये गये। तथा एक नृत्य कुमारी मृणालीनी ने फिल्म गाईड के गीत पर प्रस्तुत किया।

इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए भाजपा नेता विजय जौली ने देवआनंद के साथ 1970 के दशक से अपने निकट सहयोग की यादों को तरोताजा किया। श्री जौली ने कहा कि ‘‘देवआनंद ने मुझे स्मार्ट रहना, सक्रिय रहना व वर्तमान तथा भविष्यवादी रहना सिखाया’’। इसके साथ ही जीवन में सकारात्मक देखना व बोलना भी देवआनंद की सिखाई विशेषता को श्री जौली ने अपने भाषण में स्मरण किया।

इस अवसर पर श्री लाल कृष्ण आडवानी ने अपने भाषण में कहा कि देवआनंद ने 1970 के दशक में आपातकाल के दौरान अपनी राजनीतिक सक्रियता दिखाई। उन्होंने फिल्मी हस्तियों के समूह का नेतृत्व करते हुए तत्कालनीय प्रधानमंत्री श्रीमती इंद्रा गॉधी के आपातकाल का कड़ा विरोध किया। उन्होंने 1977 के संसदीय चुनावों में लोकतांत्रित शक्तियों के समर्थन में व्यापक प्रचार भी किया।

श्री आडवानी ने स्मरण किया कि वर्ष 1999 में देवआनंद तत्तकालनीय प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी के साथ लाहौर बस यात्रा पर भी गये थे। वर्ष 2002 में उन्हें दादा साहिब फाल्के अवार्ड वाजपेयी सरकार की अनुसंशा पर दिया गया।

देवआनंद के सुपुत्र श्री सुनील आनंद आज भाजपा नेता श्री विजय जौली के निमंत्रण पर विशेष रूप से मुंबई से दिल्ली पधारे। श्री सुनील आनंद ने इस अवसर पर नवकेतन फिल्मस की अगली नई अंग्रजी फिल्म ‘‘वेगेटर मिक्सर’’ बनाने की घोषणा भी की। इस नई फिल्म में सुनील आनंद नायक की भूमिका अदा करेंगे। इस फिल्म की पटकथा व निर्देशन सुनील आनंद द्वारा किया जायेगा। यह फिल्म दिसम्बर माह में गोवा व अमेरिका के आकर्षक स्थलों पर फिल्माई जायेगी।
