BJP Retains Right to Reopen debate on FDI in Retail : Yashwant Sinha, BJP
New Delhi, 11th Jan 2013: Delhi Study Group, a prominent NGO of India led by Ex. Delhi MLA & President Mr. Vijay Jolly organized a talk on “FDI & Its Impact on Small Traders”. The program was held at Old Meeting Hall, Town Hall, Chandni Chowk, Delhi-6.
The Chief Speaker at the program Mr. Yashwant Sinha, Member of Indian Parliament & Former Union Finance Minister while addressing the august gathering stated that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in retail is a curse for small Indian traders. It shall benefit big trading houses. Employment avenues in production sector shall decrease. Since Indian economy is service sector oriented, so self employment shall also suffer. FDI in infrastructure is acceptable. But in Indian retail sector it shall be disastrous for small Indian traders stated Mr. Yashwant Sinha.
Mr. Sinha also stated that the last word on FDI has not been heard with the recent vote in parliament. The wall mart and others shall come on their own risk. BJP reserves it right to reopen the UPA govt. decision, when it comes into power at the centre. Also the decision of FDI in retail has been taken in haste and to deflect attention of Indian masses from the failures of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh & Congress party to govern modern day India.

भाजपा के सत्ता में आने पर एफडीआई पर पुर्नविचार होगा: यशवंत सिन्हा
नई दिल्ली, 11 जनवरी, 2013: भारतीय गैर सरकारी संगठन दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप अध्यक्ष श्री विजय जौली द्वारा आयोजित ‘‘प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश व छोटे व्यापारियों पर इसके प्रभाव’’ नामक कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता रहे वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता श्री यशवंत सिन्हा ने दिल्ली की चॉदनी चौंक, टाउन हॉल में खचाखच भरे दिल्ली के व्यापारियों से कहा कि संसद में पारित खुदरा व्यापार में प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश का मुद्दा पारित होने के बाद भी भारत में विवाद के लिए खुला है। सत्ता में आने के बाद भारतीय जनता पार्टी इस मुद्दे पर पुर्नविचार करेगी। वाल मार्ट व अन्य बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियॉ भारत में आती हैं तो वो अपने विदेशी निवेश पर मॅडरा रहे खतरे के लिए स्वयं जिम्मेदार होगी। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता दिल्ली स्ट्डी गु्रप अध्यक्ष व पूर्व विधायक श्री विजय जौली ने की।
