Hariyali Teej by Delhi Study Group Showcased the Splendor of Indian Culture  16th Hariyali Teej Utsav Celebrated at PSOI Club, New DelhiPromoting People to People Friendship

New Delhi, July 21, 2025: With vibrant colours, traditional melodies and spirited dance performances, the 16th edition of Hariyali Teej celebrations by Delhi Study Group brought monsoon cheer to the capital. Held at the PSOI Club, Chanakyapuri, the event marked a festive tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage and aimed at strengthening people-to-people friendship through music, dance and shared historical traditions.

Organised under the leadership of Dr. Vijay Jolly, President of Delhi Study Group, Former Delhi MLA & Global Bharat Brand Ambassador, the evening unfolded as a cultural spectacle, complete with folk performances, regional dances, and devotional music. Women adorned in colourful sarees, bangles & mehndi, immersed themselves in the joyous spirit of Sawan & sacred essence of Hariyali Teej, which honours the divine union of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati.

The programme was inaugurated by Delhi Govt. Ministers Parvesh Sahib Singh and Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa exhorted all to "plant a tree in the name of one's mother". Hariyali Teej is more than just a festival—it’s a celebration of our roots, our families and the powerful role of women in preserving Indian traditions. Events like these foster deep cultural connections and uphold our values for the next generation.” Echoing the sentiments, Dr. Vijay Jolly remarked, “This festival reflects the soul of Bharat—colourful, spiritual and community-driven. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the spirit of cultural nationalism is thriving, and through such events, we continue to celebrate unity in diversity.” Performers like Prem Bhatia singing Bollywood melodies songs, Gujarati dandiya dance by Shashi Verma & team with dance performance eulogizing Radha-Krishna & Shiv-Parvati elevated the spiritual ambience.

A host of dignitaries including NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal, BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, Ex-Union Ministers Syed Shahnawaz Hussain & Vijay Goel, Ex-MP Ramesh Bidhuri, Mehrauli MLA Gajendra Singh Yadav, Ex-MLA Mahendra Nagpal, Romania Honorary Consul Vijay Mehta, MCD Chairman Yogita Singh, BJP Mahila Morcha President Richa Pandey & South Delhi BJP Dist President Maya Bisht  graced the celebration. The event also saw the attendance of diplomatic representatives from Nepal, Mozambique, Germany, Oman, Sri Lanka, Korea, Mauritius, Poland, Czech Republic and more—highlighting the global embrace of India’s soft power through cultural exchanges. Tasteful snacks - chaat-pakori, besan ka chila, golgappa, puri-aloo, palak paneer & chole-rice, jal jeera were specially arranged by Delhi Study Group Vice President Gopal Garg and Treasurer Anil Jindal CA - arranged sweet ghewar for all.

 Prominent leaders of Delhi Study Group present were Bhupendra Kansal, Ram Gopal Goyal, Yogesh Tandon, Gajendra Solanki, Vikul Bansal, KS Duggal, Dr. Ashok Sharma, Jaikishan Gupta, Naseem Khan, Dr. Shipra Bhardwaj, Subhash Nagar, Shalu Kumari & Vijendar Yadav. The program was conducted by Ex-Delhi Mayor & General Secretary Narendra Chawla. While extensive publicity of the program was handled by Vice President Mukesh Gupta. The 16th Hariyali Teej Utsav served as a lively reminder of how festivals can unite people across cultures, regions, and generations—celebrating womanhood, community bonding, and the richness of Indian heritage.

हरियाली तीज उत्सव में दिखी भारतीय संस्कृति की छटा
दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप ने किया 16वें संस्करण का भव्य आयोजन

नई दिल्ली, 21 जुलाई 2025ः सावन के आगमन पर राजधानी दिल्ली में हरियाली तीज का पारंपरिक उत्सव पूरी रंगीनियत, भक्ति और सांस्कृतिक भावनाओं के साथ मनाया गया। दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप द्वारा आयोजित 16वॉ हरियाली तीज महोत्सव, चाणक्यपुरी स्थित पीएसओआई क्लब, नई दिल्ली में संपन्न हुआ। जिसमें दिल्ली के गणमान्य जनप्रतिनिधियों, राजनयिकों और सांस्कृतिक प्रेमियों ने बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया।

दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप अध्यक्ष, पूर्व विधायक एवं वैश्विक भारत ब्रांड एंबेस्डर डॉ. विजय जौली के नेतृत्व में इस आयोजन में न केवल भारतीय संस्कृति का गौरवशाली प्रदर्शन किया। बल्कि जन-जन के बीच सांस्कृतिक जुड़ाव को भी प्रोत्साहित किया। रंग बिरंगी साड़ियॉ, चुड़ियॉ और मेहंदी से सजी महिलाओं ने गुजराती डांडिया और बॉलीवुड गीतों की धूनों पर थिरकना शुरू किया तो वातावरण पूरी तरह हरियाली तीजमय हो गया।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दिल्ली सरकार के मंत्री प्रवेश साहिब सिंह और सरदार मंजिंदर सिह सिरसा ने किया। इस अवसर पर प्रवेश साहिब सिंह व मंजिंदर सिंह सिरसा ने कहा ‘‘एक पेड़ मॉ के नाम’ सभी लगायें। हरियाली तीज हमारी सांस्कृतिक विरासत का उत्सव है। जो परिवार, परंपरा और महिलाओं की भूमिका को सम्मान देता है। ऐसे आयोजनों से समाज में सांस्कृतिक चेतना मजबूत होती है’’। डॉ. जौली ने अपने संबोधन में कहा ‘‘प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत की सांस्कृतिक पहचान को वैश्विक मंच पर नई पहचान मिली है। दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप का यह आयोजन भारत की सांस्कृतिक आत्मा को जीवंत करने का प्रयास है’’। प्रसिद्ध गायक प्रेम भाटिया ने बॉलीवुड के मधुर गीत गाये। शशि वर्मा व टीम ने गुजराती डॉडिया नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया। और राधा कृष्ण एवं शिव पार्वति की भक्ति से परिपूर्ण नृत्य ने सबको मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

इस सांस्कृतिक पर्व में नई दिल्ली नगर पालिका उपाध्यक्ष कुलजीत सिंह चहल, भाजपा राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री दुष्यंत गौतम, पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री सैय्यद शाहनवाज हुसैन व विजय गोयल, पूर्व सांसद रमेश बिधुड़ी, मेहरौली विधायक गजेंद्र सिंह यादव, पूर्व विधायक महेन्द्र नागपाल, रोमानिया के भारत में वाणिज्य दूत विजय मेहता, निगम चेयरमैन योगिता सिंह, भाजपा महिला मोर्चा अध्यक्ष ऋचा पाण्डेय, दक्षिण दिल्ली भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष माया बिष्ट इत्यादि। इसके साथ ही नेपाल, मोजाम्बिक, टोगो, जर्मनी, श्रीलंका, कोरिया, पोलैंड, चेक गणराज्य, ओमान और मॉरिशस सहित कई देशों के राजनयिकों की उपस्थिति ने आयोजन को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय रंग प्रदान किया। चाट-पकौड़ी, बेसन का चीला, गोलगप्पे, पूरी-आलू, पालक पनीर, छोले-चावल, जल जीरे जैसे स्वादिष्ट व्यंजनो का प्रबंधन दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप उपाध्यक्ष गोपाल गर्ग ने किया। कोषाध्यक्ष अनिल जिंदल (सीए) ने मीठे घेवर से मेहमानो का मुॅह मीठा करवाया।

दिल्ली स्ट्डी ग्रुप के प्रमुख पदाधिकारी भूपेंद्र कंसल, राम गोपाल गोयल, योगेश टंडन, गजेंद्र सोलंकी, विकुल बंसल, के.एस. दुग्गल, डॉ. अशोक शर्मा, जयकिशन गुप्ता, नसीम खॉन, डॉ. शिप्रा भारद्वाज, सुभाष नागर, शालू कुमारी व विजेंदर यादव उपस्थित रहे। प्रचार प्रसार का कार्य उपाध्यक्ष मुकेश गुप्ता ने बाखुबी निभाया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन पूर्व महापौर व महामंत्री संगठन नरेंद्र कुमार चावला ने किया। हरे लहरिया दुपट्टे व रंगबिरंगी चुड़ियों की व्यवस्था मीरा तोंगरिया ने की। हरियाली तीज का यह 16वॉ संस्करण न केवल उत्सव का प्रतीक रहा, बल्कि भारतीय परंपराओं को सहेजने और जनमानस तक पहुॅचाने का सशक्त माध्यम भी बना।
