The seminar on "MCD & Civic Problems", held on 23rd May 1997, addressed the persistent issues faced by Delhi’s civic administration, including waste management, sanitation, encroachments, and urban infrastructure. O. P. Aggarwal shared experiences from Aligarh’s municipal governance, and Sh. Nand K. Garg emphasized the government's role in urban development. The session concluded with discussions on strengthening municipal governance to enhance the city's livability.
