During the COVID-19 pandemic, many Indian students studying in South Korea faced immense difficulties due to lockdowns, financial constraints, and travel restrictions. With limited resources, they struggled to access essential supplies, medical care, and transportation. A coordinated effort was launched to assist these students by providing emergency funds, food supplies, and safe passage back to India. Special flights were arranged, and direct communication with embassies ensured smooth repatriation. Volunteers and NRI organizations in South Korea extended support through shelter and legal assistance. The initiative highlighted India’s commitment to protecting its citizens abroad and reinforced solidarity among the Indian community in foreign lands.
