Wading Through Deep Sewer Water to Help the Poor

True leadership is about action, not words. In a remarkable display of selfless service, a key member of Delhi Study Group personally waded through deep sewer water to assist poor families who were trapped in a heavily waterlogged area.

During monsoons, many low-lying areas of Delhi face extreme flooding, with poor families suffering the worst consequences. Streets turn into rivers, homes get submerged, and daily life comes to a standstill. In one such instance, a slum area was completely flooded, cutting off access to essential supplies and medical assistance.

Without hesitation, our team braved the filthy, waist-deep sewer water to reach stranded families, delivering food, drinking water, and other emergency supplies. This act of courage and dedication became an inspiration, showing that true service means standing with the people in their hardest times, no matter the conditions.

Through this and many other such efforts, Delhi Study Group reaffirms its commitment to standing by the poor in every crisis.
