Providing Gas Cylinders to Underprivileged Women

Cooking gas is a basic household necessity, yet many underprivileged women in India still rely on hazardous wood or coal for cooking, leading to severe health issues. To promote clean cooking solutions and improve living conditions, Delhi Study Group has been actively distributing free LPG gas cylinders to poor women who cannot afford them.

Many of these women spend hours collecting firewood, exposing themselves to harmful smoke that causes respiratory diseases. Recognizing this issue, our team identified families in need and provided them with free gas cylinders under our initiative. This has not only improved their quality of life but has also significantly reduced indoor air pollution in their homes.

One of the beneficiaries, a widowed mother of three, shared her relief, saying, “Before this, cooking was a struggle. The smoke made my children cough constantly. Now, I can cook without worry, and my kitchen stays clean and safe.”

Through this initiative, we aim to help more families transition to cleaner cooking methods, empowering women with better health and more time for their families. Delhi Study Group remains dedicated to bringing tangible change to the lives of those who need it most.
